Debi Webb Harper passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2012, in San Antonio Texas.
Debi was born in Cushing, Okla., on Aug. 5, 1948, to Eddie and Jayne (Moore) Webb. Debi's family moved to Alamogordo in 1954.
Debi graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1966. She received her registered nurse degree from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in El Paso in 1972. In 1973, Debi married Clyde Harper. Debi was the director of pediatric dialysis at University Medical Center in San Antonio from 1986-1999.
In 1999, she became the clinical support specialist renal with Fresenius Medical Care. She traveled extensively with her job and loved being able to train and help others.
Debi was an active member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church in San Antonio.
Debi was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Jayne Webb; and a brother Tim.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Clyde Harper; daughters Darla Williams and her husband, Robin, of Wales, United Kingdom, and Patricia Qualls and her husband, Roddy, of Colorado; sons Barry Harper, of San Antonio, Steven Harper and his wife, Silvia, of New Hampshire, and Sherry Harper; four grandchildren, Mandy, Mason, Erin and Samantha Harper; brother Paul and his wife, Ruth, of Dallas; and nephews Preston and his fiancé, Alexis, and Donald and Spenser Webb.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in San Antonio officiated by the Rev. Dowell Loftis.
The family has requested donations be made in her memory to Shearer Hills Baptist Church, 12615 San Pedro, San Antonio, TX 78216.
