Elnora T. Millerden, 64, passed away on November 13, 2012 in Alamogordo New Mexico. She was born in Pensacola, Fla. on February 10, 1948 to Mr. & Mrs. James and Eva May Thurman.
Elnora married her soulmate, Andrew Millerden, Jr. on August 2, 1968. The United States Air Force took them to Korea, Germany and finally back to the United States to Alamogordo where they raised their three boys.
She is survived by her oldest son, Anthony, and his wife Naomi Millerden of Riverside, Calif., her middle son, Timothy Millerden of Alamogordo and her youngest son Kenneth and his wife Anita Millerden. She loved her grandchildren, Keyona Angell, Daiesha, Tashaia, and Malachi Millerden, all of Avondale, Ariz., and her new love, great-grand baby, Destiny Angel Moses. She is also survived by her sisters Barthlia Thurman and Linda Jackson of Pensacola, Fla., and her nieces, Shametra Parker and Tanesha Cole.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed and her memory will survive in the hearts of her family.
0Services will take place Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial of her ashes will follow the ceremony at Monte Vista Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Odd Fellows Hall at 504 1st Street.
The Millerden family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS. \
