Mary L (Dominguez) Trigg(1940 - 2013)

The beautiful Mary L. Trigg (Dominguez), 73, flew home to the Lord June 29, 2013, in Albuquerque, after a brief, but ferocious battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 29, 1940, in Alamogordo. She married William D. Trigg Nov. 7, 1959, in Alamogordo. They spent time living in Texas and Louisiana before finally settling back in New Mexico. She was a nursing assistant for many years at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital. She was a generous, giving, kind-hearted lady who had a great sense of humor and sense of fashion.
She enjoyed conversation over a cup of coffee or two, garage sales on Saturday mornings and mass on Sundays. There was nothing she couldn't cook, or sew, and there was nothing she loved more than her family. She was a second mom to all of her younger siblings. She will be missed tremendously by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William D Trigg, her parents John and Mary Norris, her grandparents David and Ermelinda Dominguez, sisters Linda Norris, Rosie Scott and Mary Magdalene Norris; brothers Jimmy Dominguez, Henry Dominguez and John Earl (Butch) Norris; and a niece Autumn Norris.
She is survived by her son Raymond (Tommy) Trigg, daughters Rebecca Dole and her husband, Scott; Pauline Brylowe and her husband, Michael; grandchildren Sara Goff and her husband, Adam, Brittinni Brylowe, Veronica Dole and William Dole; great-grandchildren Celeste Trujillo, Lily Goff, and Sophia Goff; brothers Raymond Dominguez, Eddie Dominguez, John Norris, David Norris, Joe Norris, Robert Norris and Claude Anthony Norris; sisters Shirley Dixon and her husband, Dwayne, Billie Jean Hafley, and Yvonne Patterson and her husband, Ron; and several sisters-in law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and godchildren whom she loved very much.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 705 Delaware Ave., with Irma Candiel officiating. Communion service and funeral follows at 10 a.m. with Father Carlos Espinosa officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
