1975 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
Celena M. Branch (Nene) Obituary
Celena M Branch (Nene) was suddenly called to heaven on Jan. 3, 2014. Celena Branch was born in Alamogordo on Feb. 15, 1975, the loving daughter of Lewis and Jean Branch.

Celena graduated from Alamogordo High School where she gained a host of amazing friends that she still knew and kept in touch with. Celena then moved to Amarillo, Texas, where she lived for about 12 years.

In Amarillo, Celena had a host of jobs and several friends that she met that became just like family to her. In 2012, Celena moved back to Alamogordo to be closer to family and lifelong friends. She was a dedicated member of the Corinth Baptist Church and cared for by many.

Celena was a very fun, outgoing, spontaneous woman. She loved everyone as if they were her own family. She was constantly there for everyone and anyone in their times of need, known to others as a woman of God and possessed intense gratitude. Celena was always so funny and known for her silly, crazy personality. Celena will forever be in our hearts.

Her legacy is carried in the hearts of her grandparents Granville and Velma Ruth Roberts, two brothers Anthony and Frederick, three children Cassandria (Cassie), Patrece and Bishop; Cassandria (Cassie) Branch, her first born, is now 23 and works as a registered nurse at Gerald Champion in the ER. Patrece Branch, now 20 and is a senior in college at University of Oklahoma pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree. Bishop Woodruff, who is now 14, and is a freshman at Alamogordo High School on the Tiger Basketball team.

Her amazing children will continue to carry on the independent, hard-working legacy of their mother. Celena also had aunts and uncles Sharon McDonald, of Texas; Shelia Roberts, of N.M.; Burney and Chenelle Furnace, of Texas; Trent and Stephanie Gamble, of Texas; Johnny Roberts, of Arizona; Eddie Roberts, of N.M.; Terrance Roberts, of N.M.; Jerry Branch, of N.M.; Jesse and Margaret Branch, of N.M.; Linda Jackson, of Ariz.; and Candace Branch, of N.M.. Celena also had an awesome host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The family of Celena Branch would like to invite you to this going home celebration. The service will begin at 1 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church, 400 Delaware Ave., however, there will be a viewing at noon. The Interment will proceed at Monte Vista Cemetery.

In honor of our stunning, flamboyant mother, please wear bright colors.

Special thank you to the nurses and staff that diligently strived for the well-being of Celena. As well as those who have traveled for this going home celebration. We would also like to thank Corinth Baptist Church and Pastor Forney for their help during these hard times. Special thanks also to Robert and Alamogordo Funeral home for your help and guidance.

Celena, you are forever with us. Gone, but never forgotten. We love you.
