Idelia Segovia Alvarado, 72, of Alamogordo, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009, in Alamogordo.
Mrs. Alvarado was born Sept. 23, 1937, in La Rejino, Chihuahua, Mexico to Luis and Emilia (Salgado) Segovia. She had lived in Alamogordo since 1973 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Manuel Alvarado, of the family home; three sons, Martin Alvarado of Alamogordo, Jesus Alvarado and his wife, Jeanna, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Manuel Alvarado, Jr. of Alamogordo; two daughters, Emilia Alvarado Henry of Rosamond, Calif., and Belia Alvarado of Ogden, Utah; one grandson Jeffrey Joseph Henry of Ogden, Utah; two brothers, Servando Segovia and Rojilo Segovia, both of Mexico; and five sisters, Eduvijes Segovia Ramos of Mexico, Martha Mesa of Parrington, Texas, Esther Segovia of Dallas, Texas, Esperanza Baldazar of Bakersfield, Calif., and Consuelo Segovia Subia of Mexico.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home, and no services are scheduled.
