Johnny Lee Roberts, 60, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
He was born April 20, 1953, in Madill, Okla., and grew up in Camden, Tenn. He was born to the later Homer Roberts and Edna Atkins.
His mother, Edna Atkins, and step-father Oscar Atkins live in Madill.
He is also survived by two sisters Nancy Roberts, of Denison, Texas, and Jan Hendrix of Holladay, Tenn and brother James Roberts of Humbolt, Tenn.
Johnny was a long-time ca driver and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family at Dollar Cab Company an the many friends he made during his work.
Johnny was willing to help anyone who needed help and asked nothing in return. He was respected by everyone he knew and met. His sense of humor and funny jokes will be missed.
Come join us in a celebration of his lasting memory at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Dollar Auto, 1235 U.S. Highway 70 West, in Alamogordo. There will be food and drinks provided.
