Marian "Mitzi" Quinn Brownfield was born Sept. 27, 1931, and passed away Monday, April 29, 2013.
To all of you who knew our mother, we have a special request for you. Take a moment or two to reflect on the time you spent with her. Maybe you knew her through "Rails to Trails," Cloudcroft's City Council, or on one of her many excursions throughout this vast world of ours. Please take a moment to reflect on your most memorable experience with Mitzi. Hopefully that memory will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart. We know those thoughts would please her.
Memories of horseback riding, working, eating and just laughing; enjoying the many things that our mom loved to do. Her love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister and nieces. Especially the family of her heart (her closest friends). We remember her to be strong, a little wild, with an amazing sense of wonder and beautifully unique. We will always remember how much she loved each and every one of us.
Most of all, we will remember how much she loved Sonny, the love of her life.
We know that she is out exploring the new world that she is in, with her loves Sonny and Raisin. We love you, Mom, and will see you again - Linda, James Forrest, Jock and Lea.
