Mary Hanna Chapman, 75, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Alamogordo. She was born Oct. 23, 1937, in Washington Court House, Ohio, to Berlin and Katherine Bondurant Stonerock.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bob H. Chapman, of the family home; one brother; three sisters; two sons, Timothy H. Chapman and wife, Mela, of Albuquerque, and Andy Chapman and wife, Molly, of Arvada, Colo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mary was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Red Hat Club and Friends of the Zoo. She was a Reiki Master and also helped with numerous elections in Alamogordo. She was a resident of Alamogordo since 1971.
"Mom, we all love you and thanks to God your suffering on this earth is over."
Memorial services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel with Chuck Moon officiating.
The Chapman family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
