Mary Jo Hall, 89, passed into our loving Father's arms on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1924, in Cyril, Okla.

She was a resident of Alamogordo since 1993, after moving from Prescott, Ariz.
During WWII, she helped our nation by working at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., as an assembly line welder, next to The Enola Gay.
She was proud to be called an Okie from Oklahoma, who had the special gift of gab. She never knew a stranger. She was a loving wife and mother, and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie (or as she called him Daddy), and her son Ronald.
Survivors include her daughter Melanie J. Hall and her husband, Patrick W. Arce, of Alamogordo; her sister Jerrildine (Zimmerman) Wright and her husband, John Wright, of Mountain View, Okla.; her daughter-in-law Linda Hall, of Bonaire, Ga.; six grandsons; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A private family viewing was held at Alamogordo Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2014. Graveside services will be held in Snyder, Okla., on Easter Sunday.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.
