Ricky Lee Taylor Obituary

Ricky Lee Taylor 63, of Alamogordo went to be with Jesus on March 12, 2014.

He was born to Floyd (Jim) and Agnes Taylor on Oct. 8 1950. He will be laid to rest on April 5, 2014, in the James Canyon Cemetery at 10 a.m. with Joe Robinson officiating.
Rick attended Alamogordo High School. He spent four years in the Marine Corps in the Motor Transport Division. He loved music and was a talented musician. He attended church at Primers Iglesia Bautista.

Rick is survived by, his wife of 43 years, Karen, of the the family home; his sons Allen (Shelia) Taylor, Adam (Peggy Williams) Taylor; daughters Alisia Taylor and Jenna Taylor; seven grandchildren Chip, Hunter, Holeigh, Wyatt, Kriston, Marshal and Haven Taylor; one great-grandchild Hezekiah. He his also survived by his mother Agnes Taylor, sisters Thelma (Jim) Lapp, Shirley (Donald) Kozeniesky, Caroyln (Frank) Wilson and Martha (Jerry) Vance; and brothers Jimmy (Diana) Taylor and Bill Taylor.
He was a very special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was a father to some of his brother-in-law. He also leaves behind a lot of loving friends and relatives.

He was prceded in death by his father Floyd (Jim) Taylor, one nephew Curtis Lapp one niece Robyn Taylor, and brother Victor Leroy Taylor.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will indeed be missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
