Severo Michael "Chico" Provencio, 58, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at his home in Tularosa, NM. He was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1954 in Tularosa to Severo B. and Maria Rosauda (Sanchez) Provencio.
He is survived by his wife Terrie; sons Alexander and Patrick of the family home and Benjamin of Alamogordo; daughters Wendy and Rachel of Tularosa; grandchildren Antonio, Laurynn, Jasmine, Keyno and Rebecca. He is also survived by his mother Rose; sister Leonor and brother Raymond; extended family Marion, Nash, Aaron and Justin.
Chico worked for the U.S. Post Office for 34 years and drove the activity bus for the Tularosa Schools for more than 20 years.
Memorial services for Chico will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel, 2301 First St. Alamogordo, NM with Reverend Thomas Schoech officiating. A reception will follow at the Masonic Lodge, 411 Higuera in Tularosa, NM.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Clinic.
The Provencio family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
