Sylvia McClung Obituary

Sylvia Mae McClung, 73, passed away Jan. 22, 2013, in Alamogordo. She was born May 1, 1939, in Clopton, Suffolk England, to John and Evelyn Taylor Wood.
She was preceded in death by her parents
She moved to Alamogordo in 1968 from Spain.
She worked at the Rocket Lounge for 20 years and Presto for 10 years. She retired in 2003. She would like to thank her friends for their kindness and say "goodbye."
Survivors include her daughter Gwen Gallegos of Alamogordo; son John Story of Maple Shade, N.J.; daughter Teresa Story of Alamogordo; son James A. Story of Meridianville, Ala.; daughter Karen Lynn Story of Akron, Ohio; grandsons Carlos Sanchez, David Gallegos, Scott Hudman, Michael Story, Devan Hilliard and Baxter Jones; granddaughters Ashley Godinez, Katelyn Story, Taylor Story, Renee Miller and Grace Jones; great-granddaughters Alexis Sanchez, Desiree Sanchez, Sienna Sanchez, Isabella Sanchez and Adiana Godinez; and great-grandsons Dion Noriega and Xavier Sanchez.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home Chapel with Chuck Moon officiating.
Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Story, Ray Gallegos, Carlos Sanchez, John Story and David Gallegos.
The McClung family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.

To the family of Sylvia Story McClung family, so sorry to hear of your mom passing. Just remember all the good memories you have of her and that she is not in pain anymore she is free of pain and is in haven watching over all of you. God Bless all of you.
