Delores Lewis was a wonderful woman who loved, believed and had faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Fifty years ago Delores gave her heart and soul to our Savior Jesus Christ, allowing him to lead her down a path of righteousness. She always believed and had faith in the paths that the Lord set before her. Her spirituality and praise shined through every aspect of her life through her words, love of music, prayer, readings of the gospel and her faith. Delores would often say: "Trust in the Lord for he always knows what to do."
Delores was an amazingly strong and independent woman. She was loving and caring to anyone in need or those she met. After her husband's early death, with God's grace, she took the bull by the horns and raised 10 exquisitely beautiful children. Delores was always willing to sacrifice herself by working many jobs to support her wonderful family. Delores became an independent Avon Dealer in Alamogordo where she befriended many people. Delores unconditionally loved all living things people, animals and plants; she especially had a passion for her Roses.
