Edna Kate (Fry) Anderson, 88, of Big Spring, Texas, and a former 27-year resident of High Rolls, passed from this life Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veteran's Nursing Home in Big Spring.

She was born in Point, Texas, on May 16, 1924, to the late Lon Olin "Lonnie" Fry and Carrie Laurene (Davis) Fry. After graduating high school, she attended McMurray University.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Ray Anderson, of Big Spring; two daughters, Wyleen Anderson, of Midland, Texas, and Renee Siddall, of Florida; two sons, Boyd Anderson Jr., of Albany, N.Y., and Bruce Anderson, of Wallis, Texas; two sisters, Billye Woodford, of the West Coast, and Adeen Lowman, of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
