Yvette A. Quinones, 50, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Las Cruces. She was born July 1, 1962, in Tularosa to Armando Quinones and Eufrasia Montoya Duran.

She is survived by her son Richard Guilez and girlfriend, Kristina Kennedy; daughter Christina Salazar and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren Ciara Lechuga and Dillon Salazar; parents Eufrasia "Pacha" and Robert Duran and Armando and Helen Quinones; sisters Annette Carrillo, Lynette Duran, Yvonne Quinones, Inez McLaughlin and Priscilla Chavez; boyfriend David Sheppard; ex-husband Richard Guilez, with whom she remained friends; goddaughter Nikole Matinzo and godson, "Mondo-Blue;" a son she considered her own, "Matthew-son;" and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents; brother Armando "Bobby" Quinones; and several other family members.
The rosary will be recited Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa.
Inurnment will follow the Mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
The Quinones family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place at PCS.
