Albert George Cure, Sr, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Oc. 23, 2012 in Alamogordo. He was born on Tuesday, May 5, 1925 in Hart, Mich., to Albert J and Myrtle Mae (Curtis) Cure.

Mr. Cure was in the United States Army and was a highly decorated Korean War veteran. He was owner and operator of Al's Exhaust and Automotive on Canal for 16 years.
Mr. Cure was preceded in death by his wife, Helena (Curtis) Cure.
He was the father of Albert G. Cure, Jr, (Jann), of Texas; Kathryn Miller (Arthur), of Mich.; and adopted daughter, Dorothy E. Miller, of N.M.; grandfather of Brian Semelbaur (Kim), and Christopher Freeman, of Wash., Michael Cure, of Texas; Albert G. Cure, III. of Mo., David J. Miller (Renee), of SC, Daniel Miller, of NM, Leslie, of Texas; and great-granddaughters Hannah, of Texas; and Cheyenne Thompson of Mich., and brother of Eugene G. Cure, Myrtle mae Cure and Raymond Cure (Alven L.). A special love goes out to Rita Vergin and family of Minn. and Aunt Maybelle of Mich.
There are no services planned. Condolences may be sent to the family at 401 Utah Ave., Alamogordo, NM, 88310.
The Cure family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
