Brandon S. Curtis, 31, passed away on Jan. 16, 2013, in Alamogordo. He was born on Sept. 1, 1981, in El Paso, Texas, to George and Minke Hoekstra Curtis.

He graduated from Alamogordo High School, and resided in Alamogordo ever since. His hobbies included working on cars and computer software. He was a great father and husband and enjoyed spending most of his time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Curtis and daughter, Alexia Juliana Curtis of the family home; father, George R. Curtis of Hephzibah, GA; mother, Minke Janke Curtis of Thunder Bay, Ontario; sister, Sonja Curtis-Howard of Tampa, Fla., and brother Louis Curtis of Quebec, Canada. He also leaves behind many beloved friends. He will be greatly missed, but he lives on forever in our hearts. The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Eleanor Curtis. The Curtis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
