Henry William Nuttall, of Alamogordo, passed away Jan. 23, 2013, at the age of 90. He was born April 25, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to George and Catherin Nuttall who preceded him in death.

He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years achieving the rank of Senior Master Sergeant before retiring in Alamogordo in 1969. His service also included tours in Russia and England during WW-II and later in Izmir, Turkey as a part of the NATO forces. As an avid craftsman and dedicated father, his life was filled with activities centered on his family.
His survivors include the love of his life, Margaret, to whom he was married for 67 years; his five children Lynne Nuttall his wife, Winona, of Prescott, Ariz; Catherin Goddard her husband, Dan, of Anna, Texas; Neil Nuttall his wife, Susanne, of Trenton, Mo.; Bill Nuttall, of Alamogordo; and Mickey Nuttall, of Crested Butte, Colo. He was the proud grandfather of Jason Nuttall his wife, Rochelle; Brooke Wood her husband, Scott; Kimberly Gunter her husband, Nick; Michael Goddard, his wife, Dena; Damon Goddard his wife, Kristin; Ryan Klaussen; Nathan Nuttall his wife, Shayla; Natalie Nuttall; Nicole Addison her husband, Chris; and Amber Nuttall. Thirteen great-grandchildren also survive him: Gehrig, Trayton, Braedon, Gunner, Colt, Braxton, Brock, Kynzlee, Kynadee, Taxten, Dayten, Hanna, and Nathan, all of whom are photographed and can be found proudly displayed throughout his home.
Henry will be buried at Fort Bliss and upon his request, will not have memorial services.
The family asks memorials to be sent the Salvation Army to enhance their mission.
