Donald Charles Free, 69, of Duncan, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, in Lawton, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joseph Nettem officiating.
Burial, with military honors, will be at 2 p.m. in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Okla., under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donald was born Feb. 12, 1944, at St. Louis, Mo., to Reginald & LaGarda (Koch) Free.
He married Mary C. Sullivan on Feb. 12, 1965, in Lawton and served proudly in the U.S. military as an electronics tech for over 24 years.
Donald is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home. His mother LaGarda Free, of St. Louis; four children Michelle Bilodeau, of Duncan; Donna Free, of Waco, Texas; Reginald Free and wife, Jeanette, of Harker Heights, Texas, and Brenda Roberson and husband, Carl, of Fairbanks, Ark. Eight grandchildren Holly Conlin, Claryce Free, Sierra Bilodeau, Candice Roberson, Cheyenne Bilodeau, Katie Roberson, Chrissy Roberson and Jean Marie Roberson.
Four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and close friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father Reginald Free and a sister Jackie Hecht.
