Clarence "Clancy" Hartwig, 69
Clarence G. Hartwig passed away Oct. 17, 2013. He was born Dec. 26, 1943, in Douglas Ariz., to the late Clarence B. and Gloria (Tegner) Hartwig.
Clarence "Clancy" proudly served 20 year in the U.S. Army after retirement he worked for Dyna Corp, Dyna Span, New Tec, Cortez III and the Small Tank Farm at WSMR, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by brothers John and Paul Dean, and stepmother Eleanor (Kauhn) Hartwig.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. Hartwig; Gregory, Amber and Dennis Hartwig, of the family home; Darin and wife, Nancy, of Alamogordo and Tammy, of Farmington. Survivors also include grandchildren Carrie, Sean, Dennis and Amber Hartwig; brother Christopher Hartwig and wife, Laura, of Sauk City, Wis.; aunt Gladys Hartwig, of Madison, Wis.; uncle Ray Tegner and wife, Bernice, of Lodi, Wis.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at Baca Funeral Home, Las Cruces, NM.
