I was born on March 3, 1931. I lived. I was loved. I loved. I served my country in the Army. I worked. I took are of nine kids. I died Jan. 25, 2014. I want no funeral services. I want no memorial services. I have been cremated. I am outta here. Good Bye.

Myron Ray Stuffelbeam of Bidwell Road went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 25, 2014.
Myron was born on March 3, 1931, in Waverly, Iowa. He is the son of the late William Ray and Nellie (Youmans) Stuffelbeam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Bender) Stuffelbeam; son Randy Stuffelbeam, sister Derotha Hesse, brother Leroy Stuffelbeam, grandson, Justin Stuffelbeam, great-granddaughter Merissa Kishbaugh, special niece Judy McCormick and favorite pets Rascal and Speedy.
Myron served in the United States Army during the Korean War and endured massive injuries. He received many honors including the Purple Heart and Silver Star. Myron was a kind and generous man with a soft spoken voice. He will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Left behind to cherish his memory are three sons Mairn Stuffelbeam, of Artesia, Shawn Stuffelbeam and fiancée, Valerie Smith, of Roswell, and Mitchell Stuffelbeam, of the family home; three daughters Tompie Boysen and husband, Duane, of Edgewood, Kila Kishbaugh and husband, Edward, of Alamogordo, and Joda Lott and husband, Charles, of Memphis, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special nephewBobby Nisius, of Rockford, Ill.; and good friend and great partner, Carolyn Poe. of Alamogordo.
No memorial service will be held as requested by the honored deceased.
The Stuffelbeam family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place at PCS.
