Ray lost his battle with cancer on August 21st, 2014 at the age of 81, with his loving family be his side. He was predeceased by his mother, Edna Fong, his father, Lun Kwok and sister Evie Chin. He leaves behind his loving wife Ann, son Len (Desiree), daughters Kim (Lamar), Sherry (Dan), Lorna (Bryan) and grandchildren, Amanda, Kayla, Kyle (Nicole), Juliana (Marcel) and great-grandchildren, Ben, Ava, Ryan and Mattias, brother, Doug (Flora), sisters, Karen, Lana (Al), Leila (Marvin) and numerous other friends and relatives.

Ray was born in Vancouver, BC and moved to Port Alberni in 1956. He spent many years in the auto body industry before moving to a career in real estate. He was very involved with hockey as a player, coach and referee. He was a toastmaster and volunteer fireman for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, winemaking, writing and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 1-4pm on Thursday, August 28th, 2014, at Royal Canadian Legion, 4680 Victoria Quay, Port Alberni, BC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BC Children's Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at West Coast General Hospital for their support in hi final days.
