She lived on Lake Keystone with her home surrounded by trees and bird feeders. She enjoyed reading daily, listening to music and watching her favorite TV shows including Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor and American Pickers. Though her health was failing, she thoroughly enjoyed all that life offered and made new friends on a weekly basis.
She was preceed in death by her husband Dick in 2007; her parents; and her brother, George "Rusty" Gilliland. She had three grandchildren, Ryan and Drew Reber of Lubbock, and Waylon Long of Altus.
