Aaron David Clapp Obituary
Aaron David Clapp, 32, of Firth, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his home.
Aaron was born on April 8, 1983 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Darrold Forest Clapp and Sandra Lewis. Aaron grew up and lived his life here in Southeast Idaho, attended grade school in Shelley and graduated from Firth High School in 2001.
He was an extremely hard worker. He worked at Dairy Queen and Ball Packing throughout high school. He was currently working for Depatco Construction. He loved having the opportunity of operating the various heavy equipment machinery on job sites. He especially enjoyed operating track hoes.
Aaron enjoyed being outdoors golfing, snowmobiling, and riding four-wheelers with friends and family. Aaron was very talented musically. He learned to play the guitar in high school and spent hours doing so. His greatest love was being an uncle to his 20 nieces and nephews.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Darrold and Julie Clapp of Blackfoot and Vince and Sandy Jones of Goshen, his sister Nichole (Matthew) Powell of Rexburg, his brothers Jon (Juli) Clapp of Blackfoot, Douglass Clapp of Salt Lake City, his step-sister Amanda (Shane) Simmons of Ogden, his step-brothers Casey (Ashlee) Howell of Blackfoot, Travis (Ashley) Howell of Blackfoot, Jeremy (Jennifer) Howell of Shelley, his grandparents Lynn (Billie Jo) Clapp of Taylor, Arlin (Maxine) Wareing of Rose and May Brower of Firth.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Daniel Reese Lewis and Vida Lewis.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Goshen LDS church. Family and friends will gather for one hour prior to the services at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with an interment at 3 p.m. in the Sugar City Cemetery.
