Brad Lee Lofgreen Obituary
Brad Lee Lofgreen, 57, of Pocatello, Bannock county, Idaho died at his home Thursday, June 2, 2016.
Brad will always be remembered for his positive attitude and willingness to help others.
Brad was born July 11, 1958, in Blackfoot to Larry Lee Lofgreen and Leah Williams Lofgreen (Robertson). He was the oldest of three children.
He was raised in Riverside, Idaho and attended Snake River High School.
He married Connie Falter (Hanson) on December 30, 1980 in the Idaho Falls temple. They were later divorced in 1996.
Brad attended Ricks College, Brigham Young University, and Idaho State University. He was a life-long learner. He had a Bachelor of Science Dgree in Liberal Studies from the University of New York.
He was a hard worker. He had a driven work ethic. His last place of employment was Northwest Retreader Trucking Inc. where he delivered large tires to businesses. He loved his job and driving and seeing the countryside.
Gardening was a passion of his. Brad was an eloquent writer and voracious reader. Brad lived simply and preferred to give away his belongings to people in need, many times giving away all that he had to help others. He was talented musically and had a beautiful baritone voice. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his contagious laugh.
Brad is survived by his four children: Sheena Lofgreen Bulloch (Ryan); Seth Nils Lofgreen (Stacey); Jacob Bradford Lofgreen (Ellie); and Lisa Lofgreen Joos (Ryan); 6 grandchildren; his mother Leah Williams Lofgreen Robertson (Ezra), a brother Craig Lofgreen (Julie), and a sister Jane Lofgreen Reynolds (Shawn).
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lee Lofgreen.
A memorial service was held Saturday, June 4 at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
