Delores was born January 17, 1927 in Thomas, Idaho to Alberto Edgar Walters and Francis Steadman. She lived her lifetime in the Blackfoot area. After her mother died when Delores was two, she was raised by her grandmother for a time and later by her Aunt Myrtle Walters.
She attended school in Thomas, graduating from Thomas High School and then attended and graduated from Cosmetology College in Boise, Idaho.
On April 5, 1950 Delores married James Jackson Warren in Thomas, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 6 1962.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she faithfully served in numerous callings, including Primary President, three relief society presidencies and a temple worker, and a faithful visiting teacher. She was a den mother, P.T.A. President  and ran the Rockford-Pingree P.T.A. fair Booth.
She worked early in her life as a beautician, had worked at a few hair salons in Blackfoot and ultimately had her own salon in downtown Blackfoot. She also worked at Rockford Cafe and drove truck during potato and beet harvest. In her free time she enjoyed quilting, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, cooking, had a huge garden, making delicious raspberry jam, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
Delores is survived by her sons, Kris (Dawn) Warren of Anchorage, Alaska, Wayne (Terri) Warren of Pingree and Kevin (Tamara) Warren of Aberdeen; daughters, Nicolette (Michael) Larsen of Moreland and DeAnna (Lyle) Lamprecht of Blackfoot; 23 grandchildren; and 43 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Warren; parents; and brothers, Leo, Howard, Clarence Floyd and Willard Walters; and sisters, Geneva Jackson and Pearl Walters.
