Glenna Nadean Neitzel Obituary
Glenna Nadean Neitzel, 84, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at Gem Village.
Nadean was born Dec. 25, 1932 in Blackfoot to Glen Hamilton and Fern Cobbley Hamilton. After the passing of her mother a few weeks after she was born, she lived with family members. She was primarily raised by Mary Buckland.
She attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. Throughout her life she lived in various places such as California, Arizona and Nevada, but she always came back to her home in Blackfoot.
Nadean married Walter Frank Neitzel in Blackfoot, they later divorced.
In her free time she enjoyed dancing and traveling.
In her later years she enjoyed dancing with people from Gem Village, singing oldies, especially "You Are My Sunshine," loving her cat, "Baby"  and getting her hair done and her long nails polished.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Nadean is survived by her sons, Craig (Rosalie) Neitzel of Blackfoot, John (Ulrike) Neitzel of Denver, Colorado, Michael (Shelley) Neitzel of Pasco, Washington; brothers, Harry Hamilton of Big Piney, Wyoming, Bill Hamilton of Lewiston, Idaho, Ron Felsted of Idaho Falls; sisters, JoAnne and Cheryl Ann both of Lewiston; grandchildren, Miki Conn, Thatcher Neitzel, Logan Neitzel, Whitleigh Neitzel, Cassie Neitzel and Cody Neitzel and great-grandchildren, Christian Hopkins, Elizabeth Hicks, Megan Farish, Bentleigh Miller and Stiles Miller and one great- great-grandchild, Soyer Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Fern Hamilton; brother, Bob Hamilton; and daughters, Suzette and Heidi Dawn.
A graveside prayer offered by Ron Felsted will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Grove City Cemetery.
Family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at Hawker Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com. 
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Blackfoot Animal Shelter.
The family would like to thank Gem Village for her care. Especially the nurses that grew to love her and showed so much compassion.
