Kelley Mae Haney Obituary
Kelley Mae Haney (Beers) passed away May 11, 2017 due to accidental drowning on the Snake River.
Our Beautiful blonde, curly haired Kelley Mae Haney (Beers) was born on Sept. 12, 1979 to Jack and Susan Beers in Pocatello Idaho.
She moved from Pocatello to Blackfoot with her family in June of 1985.
She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1998 and began her adventurous life across the United States. She Lived in Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Oak Grove, Ken.; and Fort Irwin, Calif. She finally returned to Blackfoot in 2007 where she raised her precious family.
In 1998, she started working at Melinas in Blackfoot. In July 2016, she accepted a position at the State Hospital South as a Dietary Aide. She then progressed into another department where she was a psych tech and graduated with her CNA on April 5.
Kelley had an infectious smile that would brighten your day. She was never afraid to meet new people, try new things and tell you her opinion. She was strong minded with a carefree spirit that everyone was drawn to. She would offer a hand, shoulder, and heart to anyone in need.
She was truly one of a kind! She would make time to spend with her nieces and nephews and grand-nephew whom she loved dearly.
She loved camping, fishing, and all things outdoors. She loved being with and walking her two dogs, Gus and Pax.
She was survived by her husband Kevin Koompin, her three beautiful daughters; Mary Rose, Hallie Mae, and Madalyn Nichole. Her parents Jack and Susan Beers, Her sisters; Bridget, Katie, and Jenny. Her baby brother Mathieu (Megan). Her best friend for 30 years, Jennifer Jackman-Flores.
She was proceeded in Death by her paternal grandmother, Mae Beers, paternal grandfather Jesse Beers, and maternal grandfather Howard Daugherty.
There will be a visitation with the family on Friday, June 9 from 1-2 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home 132 S. Shilling Ave. A celebration of life will follow the viewing at 2 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
