Kerry Hanson Poole Obituary
Kerry Hanson Poole, 56, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, while camping with his best friend Russell Vickers in Mackay, Idaho due to a medical event.
He was born October 12, 1960, in Blackfoot, Idaho. Kerry was the son of Burke Kimber Poole and Joan Hanson Poole.
Kerry was born and raised in Blackfoot, and graduated from Snake River High School. He continued his education at Idaho State University.
He lived in several cities throughout Idaho, but called Blackfoot his home. 
He dearly loved his three daughters; Brittany, Ashley and Kelsi, two granddaughters; Raegyn and Raylee and one grandson Daxton.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kerry worked in several management positions in the plumbing, tile and electrical industry and excelled at customer service. He highly valued his customers and contractors with whom he developed lasting friendships throughout the years.
He had a lifelong passion for camping, riding motorcycles, four-wheelers and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He had a soft spot for animals and always had a faithful dog by his side.
He is survived by his three daughters, Brittany Poole and Ashley Poole of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Kelsi Poole of Pocatello, Idaho. His siblings: Randy (Trudi) Poole, Jodie (Arlin) Stimpson, Kim (Kathryn) Poole, Susan (Doyle) Hawker, all of Blackfoot and Kristi (Gary) Richey of Shelley; and his 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burke and Joan Poole and brother Steven.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at the Hawker Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 9:30-11 a.m. before services at 132 S. Shilling Avenue.
