Kevin Lynn Rowley Obituary
Kevin Lynn Rowley, 33, of Arizona and formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 while visiting in Angostura, Sinaloa, Mexico, due to a 4-wheeler accident.
He was born August 11, 1982, in Murray, Utah the son of S. Lynn Rowley.
In his younger years, he lived in California for some period of time.
At the age of eight, he moved to Idaho. While in Idaho he did a lot of fun things with his older sister and younger brother; sledding, motorcycle riding, and horseback riding. He loved animals, especially horses.
He lost his 6 year old son, Wyatt, who was killed in a car accident with his mother, "Rose" in May of 2009.
Kevin enjoyed going with his Dad on weekends to haul raw milk. He even took Nikki's and Corby's turn to be with his Dad. They thought it was boring because it took all day long.
He moved back to California where he was married and later divorced.
Kevin found his loving partner, Gloria E. Onuna Hughes. They lived in Mexico, Louisiana, and Arizona.
He enjoyed driving big trucks at an early age and got a job driving long haul with Doug Andrus. He also hauled hay and straw with his Dad, while working with Ron Bartholmaw. At the time of death he was working for an outfit out of Louisiana.
Kevin had two dogs that he really loved, a yellow lab, Deeks and a pretty dark cinnamon chow, Cheyenne that he had at the time of his death.
He is survived by his father, S. Lynn (Gloria) Rowley of Blackfoot; loving partner, Gloria E. Onuna Hughes of Mexico, sister, Nikki Larson of Elko, NV, brother, Corby J. Rowley of Tehachapi, CA, grandparents, Stanley (Faye) Rowley of Roosevelt, UT and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wyatt Lynn Wesaw, sister, Wendy L. Duchscher and grandmother, Eleanor Y. Dela Rosa.
We will miss you.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot. Condolences may be sent to: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
