Sharlene M. Kinney Obituary
Sharlene M. Kinney, 82, of Blackfoot passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 4, 2016 after struggling with kidney failure.
She was born in September 1933 to Pearl and Clayton Millward, and was the youngest of five children. She graduated from Pocatello High School, where she participated in music and theatre. She was married to Ted W. Kinney on June of 1950 in the Idaho Falls Temple. 
She was admired for her beautiful singing voice, her unparalleled cooking, her exquisite beauty, her kindness and generosity and her quick and easy laughter. 
She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in numerous, music, teaching and leadership callings throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all who came to know her.    
She is survived by her children, Blake (Luana) Kinney of Blackfoot, Michele (John) Mann of West Jordan, Utah, Kort (Judy) Kinney of Riverton, Wyo., Kole (Lisa) Kinney of West Jordan Utah; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Friday, June 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Blackfoot LDS church 11th Ward, 520 North Shilling Ave, with an additional viewing at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church.
Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S 5th Ave, Pocatello.
