Stanley "Stan" Stringham Obituary
Stanley "Stan" Stringham, 53 of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, September 18 2015 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family.
He was born October 29 1961 in Blackfoot Idaho to Ray Lyman Stringham and Joan Cowen Stringham. He attended schools in the Blackfoot and Firth area. Following high school he joined the Us Army.
He married Susan Thomas in May 1981 They made their home in Blackfoot. They were blessed with their first child a son Shannon in 1982 then followed by two daughters Samantha & Sivonna. His children and grandson were the light of his life. He eagerly anticipated the arrival of his first grand child John Marshall Lytton April 2014.
Life moves forward and he met and married Brenda Jene Marshall in 2004. They have been married for 11 years. Brenda gave him 3 wonderful, loving step daughters Dannielle, Samantha & Sabrina that he thought of as his own.
Stan was the manager of Arts Muffler Shop in Idaho falls Idaho. He also operated his own lawn mowing business. He was an extremely hard worker. He was a car tinkerer and loved to ride his Harley. He also encouraged Brenda to learn how to ride and they each loved to go for rides on their Harleys. He loved to go camping and liked to be outdoors with his family. He was loved by his entire family. He was a wonderful father, loving husband, & special baby brother to his sisters.
Stan is survived by his wife Brenda Jene Stringham, of Blackfoot, son Shannon Stringham, of Idaho Falls, daughter Samantha ( Ryan) Lytton, Grandson, Virginia John Marshall Lytton, of Radford Virginia, daughter Sivonna Stringham of Christiansburg Virginia; sisters Sharon Ann (Terry) Sherrill of Hansen Idaho: Sandra Lynn (Jim) Louder of Hazelton, Idaho, Christine Ray (Steve) Deagle, of Twin Falls Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday September 22, 2015 at the Firth Riverview Cemetery, 810 W. River Road. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
