Judith Ann Cox McClendon, 67, entered heavens gates November 12, 2017.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Jim Shelburne, senior pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Judy was born August 3, 1950, to Douglas and Margarette Cox of Amarillo, TX. She graduated from Caprock High school in 1968, and attended Southwestern College in Oklahoma City until 1970. She married the love of her life, Richard McClendon of Pampa, TX on July 29th 1972, in Amarillo, TX. Judy and Richard have two daughters, Kimberly and husband Lyle Kjerstad of Bushland, TX and Megan, of Amarillo. Judy was a proud grandmother with two grandchildren, Brody Kjerstad, age seven and Klaire Kjerstad, age two, who were the love of her life.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother, Norman.

She is survived by her husband Richard, two daughters Kimberly and husband Lyle Kjerstad; Megan McClendon; two grandchildren, Brody Kjerstad and Klaire Kjerstad, of Bushland, TX; three sisters; Shirley Holmes, Donna Voelm of Amarillo, TX and Pam Moore of Lewisville, TX. Judy had many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends who held a special place in her heart.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the funeral home.
