McCarthy Eugene Kilconny Belturbet The Family of the late Eugene McCarthy would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. A special thank you to Doctor Geoffrey Bourke, who attended Eugene during his long illness, his Wife, Maura and their caring staff, Siobhan, Anne Marie, Elaine and Lyn. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our Public Health Nurses, Anne and Kathleen for their dedication and kindness. Also the Palliative Care Team, especially Stephen and Night Nurses, Anne and Aoife. Thanks to Eugene's carers, especially Dolores Browne. Thanks to all who called to the house, sent Mass and Sympathy cards and attended Funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled a long distance to be with us (especially Anahid and Rory). We are very grateful to Justin, Marianne, Maria and Laurence who helped in our house serving refreshments. Thanks to Father Gerry Comiskey for a lovely Funeral Mass and heartfelt appreciation for your prayers, support and guidance during Eugene's last days. Thanks to Father Dan Sheridan, Father John McTiernan and Canon Corrigan for concelebrating Mass. Thanks to the ladies in Drumlane Community Centre for the lovely food. Thanks to Mark Lawlor for taking care of the Funeral arrangements and the gravediggers for preparing Eugene's final resting place. To the members of Belturbet Golf Club who formed a Guard of Honour. A big thank you to Eamon Curran and Jacqueline Bannon for the beautiful music and singing. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement serves as a token of our deep appreciation. Your kindness will never be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
