Kiernan Tommy Cloncovid, Kilcogy
Died 22nd October 2016 The sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews of the late Tommy Kiernan would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. Many thanks to the relations, friends and neighbours who visited Tommy in hospital during his illness. Sincere thanks to those that sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards and travelled a distance to pay their respects. Our thanks to those that attended the funeral home, the removal and funeral to sympathise. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in Cavan General Hospital for the care Tommy received. Special thanks to Canon Owen Devaney who officiated at the removal and funeral Mass. Thanks to Moira, Katie and Aaron for the touching music played at the removal. Many thanks to the altar servers and all who participated in the funeral Mass, in particular to John Joe and Katie for the music and Vera for the beautiful singing. We appreciate the gesture of sympathy from Mullahoran GFC and we acknowledge and thank the Fianna Fáil Cumann for providing a guard of honour on the evening of the removal. Many thanks to Molly and Simon Reilly and McMahon's funeral home for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out their duties and to the gravediggers who prepared Tommy's final resting place. Thanks to Bernie Corr for the lovely food provided and to the staff in the Pikers Lodge, Lough Gowna for the beautiful meal after the funeral. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. Tommy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 25th November at 7 pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran.
