I just learned of Ro's passing yesterday and I am so sorry. I am Bob's cousin and spent many weekend's at the cabin in Thompson, and also visited Ro at her apartment. We enjoyed watching the games as well as eating her excellent Italian meals. Ro also knew me as a child as she spent lots of time with the Sheahan family. She will be sorely missed.

I didn't meet Ro until 2012, when I learned about the passing of another friend, Joan Sheahan Dombrowski, a Michigan graduate. Ro's husband was my friend Bob Laplante. Ro invited me to stay at her lovely apartment any time I was in AnnArbor; and we always had such good visits, as if we had known each other for many years. I graduated from Michigan in 1961, so the two of were great fans of the school. She would always end her letters with "Go Blue." Such a fun and gracious person...I will miss her.
