TURNER, RONALD CLAIRE
Age 82, passed away May 30, 2014. Ron was a resident of the Brook in West Branch, MI. Ron was the husband of the late Maribel (Billie) Dietrich Turner and they were married for 32 years. He is survived by his children Susan Turner Wisely and husband Tom; David Turner and wife Janet; Janice Turner Winters; and five Grandchildren; Robbie and fiance' Jena, Charlynn, Megan, Jared, and Hannah. Ron served in the U.S. Army as SP3 during the Korean War in which he was stationed in Nurnberg, Germany. Ron was an Ohio State graduate and a proud member of the Sigma Pi fraternity. Ron was an avid golfer, card player, enjoyed building model airplanes in his earlier years and fraternizing with good friends over the OSU/U of M rivalry. A celebration of life took place at the Brook on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 6 PM for residents and family.
