Funeral service for Clara B. Gaston, 94, will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Oconee Baptist Church where the Rev. Oliver Gaston, pastor and Bishop Alex Allen Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Rushing Spring Church Cemetery Lincoln. Mrs. Gaston remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Survivors include Linda L. Suttle, Jannette (Elvis) Smith, Janice Gaston and Connie (Mike) Williams, all of Anniston; Alphonso Fomby, of Lincoln; 24 grandchildren; 60 great grandchilden; 26 great-great-children; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Gladden; husband, Henry Sambo Gaston; daughters, Shirley Hearn; Mary Gaston Taylor Sandridge, Susan Wilson; son, Henry Jerome Gaston, great-great granddaughter, Jakyla Mixon and seven siblings.
