Graveside service for Lawrence Reid Ramsay, 78, of Anniston was held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Bethel Chapel in Sumterville, Alabama with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. Mr. Ramsay passed away March 21, 2015 in Anniston. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ramsay, of Anniston; two step-daughters, Pamela Martin (Randy), of Glencoe, Marcia Headrick (Tommy), of Wellington; sisters, Jane Ramsay Hunt (Jim), of Columbus, Miss., Margaret Ramsay, of Athens; brother, Andrew Elias Ramsay Jr. (Barbara), of Hoover; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ramsay is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Elias Ramsay Sr. and mother, Alice Fulton Ramsay. Pallbearers were his nephews and sons-in-law. Mr. Ramsay was a native, of Livingston, Ala. Dear family..im so sorry to learn of your loss. May God grant you peace and comfort in the days ahead as only He can for His grace is sufficient for all our needs. Lawrence was a fine man. I enjoyed knowing him at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. I will be remembering all of you in prayer in the days ahead.
