Annie Chapman was a great friend to me and my family. She was especially highly regarded by my mother and father, and brought a special kind of cheer and good humor into their household for many years.
I am glad that I had the occasion to see her and visit with her several times over the years whenever I returned to Anniston. She never changed - always bright, kind, and cheerful. I am glad I knew her, and I'm certain there are many whose lives she touched that are proud to say the same.
