Brittain, Mary A. - Alexandria  
Funeral service for Mary A. Brittain, 84, will be Sunday at 3 P.M. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Cobb and the Rev. Jason Stewart. Private burial will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until service time. Survivors include her children, Neal Brittain (Janet), Sue Brittain Boling (Terry) and Cathy Brittain Guyse (Les); grandchildren, Danielle Meiser (Mike), Lesley Wager (Fred), Nicole McGowan (Paul), Corey Boling, Hunter Brittain, Hannah Brittain and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert A. Brittain. Mrs. Brittain served her community for many years as a registered nurse. It was her mission in life to help her family, serve her Lord and others and she did this exceedingly well. The family suggests memorials be made to Alexandria Baptist Church. Bright, Richmond Nollie - Lincoln  
Funeral service for Richmond Nollie Bright, 82, of Lincoln who passed away February 25, 2015 St. Vincent's St. Clair Hospital will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2015 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Ronny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Nollie is survived by his sister, Mary Lois Witte; two brothers, Sidney Joe Bright, Paul Bright; many nieces and nephews. He was born on the 30th of December, 1932 in Oxford, Alabama to Ralph Morgan and Maude Merle Day Bright. After graduating high school he served the US Military in both the Army and the Air Force. A self-employed roofer he was a huge Alabama fan and a former member of Antioch Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Donald Patman, Alfred Williams, John Fulmer, Mike Rich, Matthew Robinson and Leon Robinson. Brown, Trenton Mandel "Fatmack" - Piedmont  
Service for Trenton Mandel "Fatmack" Brown, 38, of Piedmont will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor David Burnett and Apostle Willie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens. The body will lie in state at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Mr. Brown passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at his home. Survivors include two children, BreAnna Michelle Thompson and Caleb Pike Dudley, both of Piedmont; his mother, Eloise Brown, of Piedmont; his father, Timlye Prater, of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandchild, Mariyah Thompson, of Piedmont; his grandmother, Mary Julia Prater; four sisters, LaConya Thomas, LaShara Thomas, JaMeka Prater and Allison Godwin; three brothers, Roderick Thompson, Sarandon Dunbar and Camacho Brown; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; special friends, Tyrance Mathis and Wesley Buttram. Pallbearers will be friends. Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Piedmont. He was a graduate of Piedmont High School and was employed at Agility Fuel Systems for 10 years. He accepted Christ at an early age, attended and was a faithful member of New Covenant Ministry and was loved by everyone. He was preceded in death by a sister, LaToyoria Thomas; his grandmother, Josephine Brown.

Funeral service for Gene R. Boyd, 73, was held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery, Barfield. Mr. Boyd passed away on February 19, 2015 at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Boyd; children, Freddy L. (Jimmie) Goodwin, Brenetta (Andrew) Hardy, all of Lineville, Harold (Chequita) Boyd, of Lubbock, Texas and Sherry (Lamar) Wright, of Wedowee, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
