Kirk Sr., Joseph Ormond "J.O." - Anniston  
Funeral service for Mr. Joseph Ormond "J.O." Kirk Sr., 62, will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with the Reverend Chris Brown officiating. Burial will be at Anniston Memorial Gardens veterans section. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kirk passed away on Saturday, May 21st in Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Katie Brown, of Anniston, Ala., Ormond "Bud" Kirk, of Oxford, Ala., Christine Taccone, of Selma, Ala.; his father, Ormond Louis Kirk, of Moultrie, Georgia, his beloved mother, Carolyn Kirk McGee, of Anniston, Ala.; his half-sister, Michelle Kirk, of Moultrie, Ga.; and his former wife and the mother of his children, Bonnie Boyle, of Tyler, Texas. He is survived by his step mother, Crystal Kirk, of Moultrie, Ga.; two daughters, Cookie Kirk Roach (Mark), of Tyler, Texas and Rebecca Kirk, of Moultrie, Georgia; two sons, Joseph Ormond Kirk Jr. (Sarah), of Austin, Texas, John Kirk (Kristen), of Vernon, Texas; nine grandchildren, and one great- grandchild; one sister, Teresa Hayes (Mark), of Wellington, Ala.; four brothers, Curtis Kirk (Angie), of Jacksonville, Ala., Kenny Kirk (Keitha), of Weaver, Ala., Brian Kirk (Jamie), of Anniston, Ala. and Patrick Kirk (Lisa), of Anniston, Ala.; many, many cousins of whom he cherished. Mr. Kirk was a veteran, having served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne in Bamberg, Germany. He was an avid coin collector and was a talented artist and writer. He truly never met a stranger. He had a multitude of friends from all walks of life. He loved telling jokes, laughing and having everyone around him laughing along with him. He was a great storyteller and a lover of poetry. He spent many years going back and forth between the family he had in Alabama and the family he had raised in Texas. In his most recent years he was drawn back to Texas to be near the ones who made him the most proud, his children and grandchildren. He will be missed.

Kainz, William Walter "Bill" - Weaver  
A funeral service for William Walter (Bill) Kainz, 51, will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Harry Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow at a later date, in Hope City Cemetery, Hope, N.D. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Kainz died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at his residence. He is survived by his mother, Fay Kainz, of Weaver; two brothers, Jeffrey Alan Kainz, of Jacksonville and Kevin John Kainz and his wife, Ellen, of Winston- Salem, N.C.; a step-sister, Linda Davis and her husband, John, of Stephenville, Texas; nieces, Morgan, Karley, Lacey and Tasha; nephew, Jason; as well as several aunts and uncles. Mr. Kainz was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Gann Kainz, and his father, Clarence Leroy Kainz. He has resided in Calhoun County for the past 30 years and was a brick mason, by trade. Kelley, Patricia Sanders - Midland  
Patricia Sanders Kelley, 59, went to walk with the Lord on May 18, 2016 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. Patricia was born on September 13, 1956 in Odessa, Texas. Pat enjoyed most spending time with her friends and family, visiting and doing various activities. She most enjoyed her Saturday's attending the movie theater with her husband and children. She was absolutely in love with her two dogs, Buffy and Susie and was well known as a lover of all animals. She also was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Patricia graduated from Permian High School in 1975. On February 21, 1981, she married the love of her life, Quinton Kelley in Odessa, Texas. She and her husband were co-owners of Kelley's Controls, Inc. of Odessa. She was very active in the business until her passing. She enjoyed the work that she did and helped grow the business into the successful venture it is today. Pat is preceded in death by her mom, Cora Lee Jones, William V. (Popo) Jones, father, Jim Sanders; brother, Virgil Jones Jr.; sister, Dorothy J. Stroud; uncle, Burkely (uncle B ) Jones and a very special friend, Mary Lou Parsons. Pat is survived by her husband, Quinton Kelley, of Midland; children Troy Kelley, of Odessa, Trina Arp and her husband, Gary, of Odessa, Brandon Kelley and his wife, Bess, of Denton, Michelle Kelley, of Midland and Casey Kelley, of El Paso; grandchildren, Aubrey Arp, Bryson Kelley and Brylee Kelley; and numerous nieces, nephews and several cousins as well; as a brother, Gary Helton, of California. Visitation was scheduled for Sunday, May 22, 2016, 5 until 7 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service was held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Dr. Reverend Jimmy Braswell, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Kiker, Mary Jane Warren - Lincoln  
Mary Jane Warren Kiker, 71, passed away May 25, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Renae Rodgers will officiate. Her family will receive friends Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mary Jane was native of Talladega where she graduated from THS in 1963. She was employed by Dr. James L. Hardwick for 21 years, then later employed by Elwood Staffing where she served as area manager for 26 years. She is preceded in death by her son, Patrick Warren Kiker; her parents, John and Emma Warren; brother, Johnny Warren, and sister, Patsy Warren Wright. Survivors include her sisters, Barbara W. Phillips and Betty W. Arnold; nieces and nephews, Christy P. Moore, Jeff Arnold, Alan Arnold, Jan Garrett, Hal Warren and Teri Goodman; special great-niece, Emma J. Moore.
