Carter, Rosie Lee - Midland  
Funeral service for Rosie Lee Carter, 85, (formerly of Anniston) will be on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Greater Thankful Baptist Church where Pastor Byron Jackson, officiating, the Rev. Roger Montgomery, eulogist. Interment will follow in New Hope Church Cemetery, Bynum. Mrs. Carter passed away on February 19, 2015. Mrs. Carter's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Carter was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and served as Church Mother. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Cornelius, Alberta (Lee) Moore, Jean Siders, of Detroit, Mich., Donna (Charles) Lowe, of Midland, Ga., Berysce Carter of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Billy (Rosemary) Stokes; 20 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; in-laws, Rosemary Stokes, of Anniston, Emma Stokes, of Columbus, Ga., other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Sr. and Ethel Stokes; her husband, J.V. "Bill" Carter; children, Gwendolyn Carter, Levertis "Huck" Carter, Willie "Bug" Harris and Ladrester Spigner. Clark Jr., Thomas William - Anniston  
Funeral service for Mr. Thomas William Clark Jr., best known as Smiley, 44, will be on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. Music will be provided by Paige Nelson and Amber Warren Keener. Chaplin Richard Green will be officiating. Mr. Tim Brown and Mr. Dean Hubert Moore will be a speaker during the service. Visitation will be held on today, February 24, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Clark passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in a motor vehicle accident. He is survived by his wife, Bridgette Deanna Griffith; children, Haley LeeAnne Griffin, husband, Hunter, Jeffrey William Clark, Devin Bryan Wilson and Kalyn Deanna Clark; grandchildren, Conagher Griffin and Karley Griffin; sisters, Glenda Fay Arnett, Wanda Kay Rhodes, Sylvia Annette Shelnatt, Connie Darlene Smith and husband Terry; in-laws, Hubert and Tammy Moore; brother in law, Jeremy Moore; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Evelyn Clark; a brother, William Ray Clark. Pallbearers will be Glen "Bubba" Keener, Tim Brown, Dustin Montalto, Sean Jones, Wayne Alexander and Jeremy "Buck" Moore. Mr. Clark worked for L.E. Bell as a mechanic. He also worked as a roofer for 23 years. He loved working on cars and was an avid music lover. Mr. Clark was spontaneous with a free spirt but he was also a hardworking man who supported his family. Mr. Clark loved to aggrevate and pick at his family and friends in the most loving way he could. He loved spending time with his wife and children and was a family man. Cobb Sr, W.L. (Bill) - Weaver  
A celebration of life for W.L. (Bill) Cobb Sr., 89, of Weaver, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with the Rev's Skip Snelling and T.R. Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Gray Brown Service. Mr. Cobb passed away Thursday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Trudy A. Cobb, of Weaver; children Cheryl Hardin, Lynn Parker (Brock), W.L. (Bill) Cobb Jr., Rodney Cobb (Angela), Tommy Graham (Terri), Wesley Graham (Lisa); sister, Mary Parris (Clarence); brother, Jack Cobb (Rowe); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rena Cobb; first wife, Frances Cobb; his brother, E.P. Cobb; granddaughter, Melissa Dunn; daughter-in-law Darlene Cobb. Pallbearers will be Nick Cobb, Chad Cobb, Jacob Lowery, Shane Price, Jerry Holloway, Dennis Vaughn, Chris Ledbetter and Carlton Edwards. Mr. Cobb was a WWII veteran in the Navy. He sang with several Gospel groups and started the Bill Cobb Trio with his daughters Cheryl and Lynn for 10 years. He was a minister of music at Faith Temple Church before he was pastor of Parkwin Day Spring Church. There he touched many lives through speaking the word of God. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service for James Calvin "JC" Coleman Jr., 58, will be on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. at Refuge Full Gospel Methodist Church where Pastor Benjamin Little officiating, the Rev.
