Holt, Billy Wayne - Jacksonville  
Funeral service for Billy Wayne Holt, 71, of Jacksonville will be 12 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will privately be laid to rest at the Alabama National Veterans Cemetery in Montevallo. Howard, Douglas "Mike" - Oxford  
Funeral service for Mr. Douglas "Mike" Howard, 72, will be Monday, January 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Dan Mattox officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends today, January 25, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Howard was called home by his Lord and Savior on January 22, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Howard was born in Morisville, N.C. and was raised in Spartanburg, S.C. He called Alexandria and Oxford home for the past 4 years. Mr. Howard was a retired disabled veteran where he proudly served his country. He is survived by his very loving wife of 50 years, Judy Lawson Howard; two sisters, Brenda Copeland and Judy Love, both of S.C.; two daughters, Rhonda Cooley (John) and Jody Howard (Leo); son, Mile Foster, of S.C.; grandchildren, Jeanna Kelley, Tyler Howard, Candace Watson, Kaylee Clayton, Aubrey Carter, Jordyn Searcy and Lauren Cooley; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Brooklyn Watson, Aiden Howard and Kynleigh Clayton. Mr. Howard was preceeded in death by his parents, David Lewis Howard Jr. and Eppie Duckett Howard. Pallbearers will be Leo Searcy, John Cooley, Tyler Howard, Bart Watson, Justin Clayton and Kyle Patrick. Mr. Howard had a strong Christian belief and firmly believed with all his heart that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior.
