Haynes, Tommy Hamlin - Oxford  
Funeral service for Tommy Hamlin Haynes, 83, will be held today, August 29, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford with the Rev. Roy Cordle and the Rev. Scott Whetstone officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. with the service following immediately in the Funeral Home Chapel. After the Funeral Home service, a private interment will be held at Eulaton United Methodist Cemetery. Mr. Haynes was born July 15, 1932 to Lena and Asa Haynes in the Shady Glenn community near Anniston. He died on August 27, 2015 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston following an extended illness. Mr. Haynes served in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by parents Lena and Asa Haynes; brothers, Paul, David, AC and Loy and sister, Alice Haynes Pettus. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty W. Haynes; his daughter, Donna Gray (David); sons, Allen and Tim; two grandchildren, Julie Talley (Josh) and Meagan Lanier (Evan); two great- grandchildren, Gray and Kyrie Lanier; one sister, Eris Waldrep and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Talley, Evan Lanier, Randy Haynes, Mike Haynes, Roger Hutchinson and Richard Sellers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of New Haven Baptist Church. Holley, Carolyn Sanderson - Alexandria  
Funeral services for Carolyn Sanderson Holley, 76, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Bros. Tommy Reaves, Emmett Roper, Randy Postell and Billy Dempsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Mrs. Holley went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2015 at her home. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Alton Mack Holley; sons, Anthony Mack Holley (Paula), of Weaver and Bryan Franklin Holley (Karen), of Simpsonville, S.C.; daughter, Cheryl Marie Graydon (Lewis), of Opelika; grandchildren, Anthony Matthew Holley, of Moody, Joshua Scott Holley (Sarah), of Raleigh, N.C., Rebekah Holley Schwanbeck (Brian), of Simpsonville, S.C., Jonathan David Holley (Stacy), of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mary-Carol Graydon, of Opelika; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Wyatt Schwanbeck, of Simpsonville, S.C. and Eleanor Margaret Holley, of Raleigh, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lila Sanderson; her brother, Kenneth Sanderson and her grandsons, Forrest and Hunter Graydon. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Holley, Matthew Holley, Phillip Holley, Ronnie Reed, Kenny Sanderson and Brian Schwanbeck. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the First Baptist Church of Saks, Uneedus Sunday School Class. Mrs. Holley was the Salutatorian of the Alexandria High School Class of 1957. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Furniture Fair for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, teaching children in Sunday school, singing in the choir, cake decorating, traveling and loving her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hutto, Joe - Oxford  
A visitation for Mr. Joe Hutto, 74, will be held 6-8 this evening at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. Mr. Hutto passed away on August 31, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Home. He is survived by his children, Joe Hutto (Sherri) and Tami Crumley (Kent); siblings, Herman Hutto Jr., Alice Jean Hutto, Barbara Rhodes and Moody Hutto; grandchildren, Jonathan Hutto, Brian Crumley (Paige) and Ragan Crumley; great-grandchildren, Addie Rae Crumley, Brynlee Crumley and Easton Crumley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rena Hutto; son, Michael Hutto and brother, Buddy Hutto. Mr. Hutto retired from CVS. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
