Funeral service for Jimmy Rogers Thornton, 64, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Greater Thankful Baptist Church, the Rev. Byron Jackson, Pastor and Dr. P.Q. English, Pastor Emeritus. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Garden Cemetery with Military Honors. Viewing will be held today, April 29, 2016 at Goodson Funeral Home. Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Breech (Joseph), of Anniston; mother, Icy Dell Thornton of Anniston; brothers, the Rev. Lovett Thornton Jr., of West Point, Ga., Eddie Thornton (Marilyn), of Huntsville, Robert Thornton (Stephanie), of LaGrange, Ga., Henry Thornton (Valdra), of Huntsville, Earnest Thornton (Pamela), of Bowden, Ga.; sisters, Ernestine Morris (Martee), Vivian Sanders (Frederick Sr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tucker, Cynthia Denise Carlisle - Jacksonville  
Funeral service for Cynthia Denise Carlisle Tucker, 58, will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at noon at the Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Carlton Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Mrs. Tucker passed away on April 29, 2016 at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham. Mrs. Tucker's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. A wake will be this evening 6-8 p.m. at the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Tucker graduated 1976 from Anniston High School, she attended Alabama State University, and Birmingham Easonian Baptist Bible College. She was a director of Constantine Head Start. Past president of Alabama State University Alumnae Chapter, member of Dorcas of Art and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivor include her husband, Albert Tucker; her baby girl, Genesis; god-daughter, Symore Greathouse (Mone); siblings, Dorothy Duncan, Odessa (Earnest) Woods, Julia Oliver, Frank (Glenda) Carlisle, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewwy and Katie Mae Carlisle; sister, Nancy O'Hara; nephew, Alvin O'Hara; eight uncles; one aunt. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
