Hicks, Tammy W. - Alexandria  
Funeral service for Tammy W. Hicks , 46 , will be Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Steve Dempsey and Bishop Leroy Austin will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville, Alabama. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 - 8 at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Hicks; sons, Justin Hicks (Amber) and Jason Hicks; grandchildren, Hunter Hicks and Kyle Hicks; mother, Ruth King and her step-mother, Vickie Butterworth. Pallbearers will be Tim Hicks, Charlie Nobles, Blake Nobles, Tom Duley, Chris Cobb and Chris Knight. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael G. Horne, Raymond O. - Anniston  
Funeral service for Raymond O. Horne, 64, will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 2 p.m. at Word Alive International Outreach Church in Coldwater. Pastor Kent Mattox will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Methodist Church in Clay County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Raymond passed away on Friday at Stringfellow Hospital. Survivors include his son, Scotty Horne; daughters, Krista Clay, Wendy Chapman and Haley Horne; grandchildren, Natisha, Courtney, Layne, Lauren, Grace and London; one great-grandchild, Ja'Ra; mother, Louneil Horne; brothers, Benny Horne and Edgar Horne; sisters, Camille Sands and Naomi Sells and several nieces and nephews. Raymond owned Custom Cycle and was a member of Word Alive International Outreach Church. Raymond was a veteran of the US Army.

Graveside service for Dora B. Roach Howell, 94, will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015, 11 a.m. at Forestlawn Gardens. The Rev. Bobby Brooks and the Rev. Scott Smith will be officiating. The family will receive friends on today August 4, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Howell passed away on Sunday at National Health Care. Survivors include her children, Joel S. Howell (Sammie), Gene Howell (Brenda), Peggy H. Vickers (Jimmy); grandchildren, Scott Howell (Gina), Kerri Lawson (Jimmy), Duane Howell, Frank Peters (Christy), Rickey Peters, Dana Hall (Tucker); great-grandchildren, Josh Howell, Michael Howell, Sara Kate Lawson, Nicole Peters, Rust Peters, Hunter Peters, James Peters, Samantha Peters, Meridith Howell, Patrick Hall, and Dylan Hall. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great- grandsons. Mrs. Howell was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was retired as a custodian at Oxford Elementary School. Hubbard Jr., Edward C. - Oxford  
Funeral service for Mr. Edward C. Hubbard Jr., 84, will be on Wednesday July 28, 2015, 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Alan Jinks officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on the same day from 11-1:00 p.m. Mr. Hubbard went home to be with his Lord on July 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Hubbard; son, Randy Hubbard and his wife, Denisa; a grandson, Adam Hubbard and his wife, Savanna; a great grandson, McKennon Hubbard; a sister, Gaynell Wigley and her husband, Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Flora Hubbard; four sisters and one brother. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Hubbard was a member of Cheaha Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He served his country in the Navy. After leaving the Navy, he served proudly as a State Trooper for 23 years, where he was a member of many groups with the troopers. Mr. Hubbard was a very devoted family man and enjoyed spending all the time he could with them. The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to Amedysis Hospice, Shirley with New Beacon Hospice, Janet Pinson with Comfort Keepers and the Veterans Health Administration. Mr. Robert E. Huntley, 68, passed away on July 26, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Huntley; sister, Barbara Copeland, of Arizona; daughter, Dawn Cyr, of Ohio; son, Robert Edward Huntley III, of Michigan and Colleen D. Bridewell, of Virginia; grandchildren, Zen and Vayda Bridewell. Mr. Huntley worked at Honda for 26 years. He was an avid golfer. Thank you for your support. Lewis, Sarah M. - Anniston  
The funeral service for Mrs. Sarah M. Lewis, 93, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday July 30, 2015, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Buddy Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Lewis passed away on July 28, 2015, at Golden Living in Oxford. Mrs. Lewis worked in sales at Wakefield's for over 20 years. She had been a member of First Baptist Church at McClellan for 65 years, where she and her husband worked with the youth. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Joseph Richard Lewis; and an infant son, Larry Lewis. She is survived by her sons, Cary Lewis and his wife, Sally, of Anniston, and Jim Lewis, of Ocala, Fla. The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Butterworth Nursing Agency, the nursing staffs at Golden Living in Oxford and the Orthopedic Unit at RMC and everyone at NHC place for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Lewis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church at McClellan, 251 Morton Road, Anniston, AL 36205.
