Funeral service for Judy Lynn Boyd, 53, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Allen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Boyd passed away Thursday at RMC Anniston. She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Noah (Wesley) and Lucretia Boyd; grandchildren, Blake, Katelynn and Brad Noah and Ansley Boyd; brother, Frankie Jennings (Johnnie) and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Shane Lee Boyd; parents, Carl and Sue Jennings; brother, Ricky Jennings and nephew, Heath Jennings. She was a loving mother and sister. She will be missed. Cunningham, Rick - Anniston  
A celebration of life for Rick Cunningham, 70, will be 3 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2015, at HillCrest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. Mr. Cunningham passed away on Thursday at Trinity Medical Center. Survivors include three daughters, Chasidy Davidson (Ben), Angela Cunningham and Dana Jennings (Brian); two sons, Daryl Cunningham (Danielle) and Brayden Cunningham; sister, Dianne Cunningham; four brothers, Jackie, Larry, Wayne and Lorne Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Ann Cunningham; parents, Jack and Agnes Cunningham and brother, Greg Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of HillCrest Baptist Church. Mr. Cunningham was a man of strong faith, U.S. Navy veteran and a avid motorcycle rider. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by all. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Funeral service for Jewel Boyles, 63, will be on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Munford with the Rev. Roger Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Hall Grove Cemetery. Ms. Boyles passed away on July 23, 2015 at Hospice LaGrange. Ms. Boyles's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Suriviors include her daughter, Krystal A. Chapman, Dale W. - Jacksonville  
A memorial service for SFC Dale W. Chapman, 65, U.S. Army Retired will be Saturday August 1, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Nix officiating. SFC Chapman died on Tuesday July 28, 2015, at St. Vincent-St. Clair Hospital in Pell City. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Chapman, of Jacksonville; his daughter, Jackie (SGT Robert) England, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; his son, Josh (Brianne) Paradeis, of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, David England, Kenzington Paradeis, Cooper Paradeis and Addison England; sister, Devon (Jimmy) Wilty, of Iowa; brother, Dewayne Chapman, of Dubuque; numerous nieces and nephews. SFC Chapman was Catholic by faith and was retired from the U.S. Army where he served his country faithfully, with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father and "Pop Pop". In his spare time SFC Chapman loved fishing, cutting grass and spending time outdoors. He also had a passion for Hot Rods and riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. SFC Chapman was stationed at Fort McClellan and after his retirement he continued to serve his country as a Department of the Army Civilian with the U.S. Army Chemical Corp. SFC Chapman will be greatly missed by all who knew him. SFC Chapman was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Chapman and Lavon Chapman Kopp; his brother, David Chapman. Parker, Edith Mackey - Hobson City  
Funeral service for Edith Mackey Parker, 66, will be on Saturday August 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church where the Rev. Dennis McKinney, pastor and the Rev. Frederick Durant, eulogist. Interment will follow in Hobson City Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Parker passed away on July 24, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. A wake will be this evening 6-8 p.m. at the Russell H. Williams Chapel. Mrs. Parker's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Edith graduated from Calhoun County Training School in 1967.
