Bobbie Dean Saxon Lett

Oxford - Celebration of life services for Bobbie Dean Saxon Lett, 82, will be held at 1 p.m. today, October 8, 2013, at First Baptist Church Oxford with visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial immediately following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. After a brief illness, the Lord sent his angel to take Bobbie to her eternal home. Bobbie was born in Oxford, Alabama, graduated from Calhoun County High School in 1949, and on December 23, 1950 married Joseph Charles Lett. Bobbie was a member and past president of the Pilot Club of Oxford and a founding member of the Oxford Arts Council. She was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church Oxford. Bobbie was always involved in every aspect of her children's and grandchildren's lives. She was affectionately known to many by her grandmother name, Lullaby. She will be greatly missed but all who loved her know she is now with her Savior and the love of her life. Her husband, Joseph Charles Lett, preceded Bobbie in death by 38 days. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Elmus Saxon and Janie Mae Saxon. Survivors include her children, Cynthia Saxon Lett Williams (Bill), Michael Joseph Lett (Debbie); brother Bill Saxon (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jason Lett, Leah Goggans Simmons (Daniel), Jake Goggans ( Allie), Katelyn Williams, James Lett, and Saxon Lett and great-grandchild, Hayden Simmons. Pallbearers are her grandsons, nephew, Tom Saxon and godson, Jay Connell. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Oxford building fund or a in memory of Bobbie Lett. Miller Funeral Home
