Funeral service for Mrs. Christine Knox Walton, 74, will be noon, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Miracle Revival Temple in Anniston with Pastor Walter Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Garden Cemetery. Public viewing will take place today at the funeral home from 1-7 p.m. Goodson Funeral Home directing. Survivors include a loving sister, Ms. Mary C. Moore, of Jacksonville; her loving caregivers, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Patricia Gaither, of Jacksonville; a daughter-in-law, Ms. Shinika M. Hillsman, of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters-in-law, Lorraine C. Knox, of Jacksonville, Ms. Connie Knox, of Anniston and Ms. Minnie Walton, of Atlanta, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of Atlanta, Georgia; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman and Ida Mae Knox Sr.; husband, Mr. Leslie Walton; children, Mr. John Hillsman, Mr. Timothy Hillsman and Mr. Tony Hillsman; sisters, Ms. Emma Leach and Ms. Willia Ward; brothers, Mr. William Knox, Mr. Coleman Knox Jr., Mr. Eulius Knox, Mr. Charles Knox and Mr. Arthur Knox.
