Funeral Service for Imogene Elaine Whetstone, 71, will be 12 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville with the Rev. Keith Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-12 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Whetstone died Monday at her residence. Survivors include her children, Lisa Whetstone, Scott Whetstone (Kim), Aaron Whetstone (Chasity) and Rhonda Jenkins; six grandchildren; sisters, Sherry Bush (Lee) and Donna Hays (Scott). Mrs. Whetstone is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Whetstone. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a blessing to all who knew her. She is now resting with Jesus and rejoicing with Ronald, her beloved husband of 51 years. She is, and always will be, deeply missed. Online condolences may be made at www.graybrownservice.com.
